Our Slicker is an authentic reproduction of the original "Fish Skin" Slickers of the late 1800s. It features a dual set of buttons so it can be fastened straight up the front (allowing more room for a warmer undercoat) or a wrap around style (buttons to the side) to "snug" you in it. Coated in a patented rubberized cotton (much lighter and less sticky than oilskins) and lined in a cotton muslin, it will wick up moisture and allow for more "breathability" than typical tack store slickers.
